5000ft Rock of Sri Lanka

There is a very important place called "Pandas Gala" means the rock which is situated at 5000 feet above sea level. 5000Ft Rock is situated at closed to Alawathugoda Village of Welimada Sri Lanka and also Pattipola Region. Earlier this rock is identified as Kabaragala. This rock is not a artificial one. It's natural resource one but wonderful thing is that the rock situated 5000 feet border. Cultivating Chena or other agriculture things above 5000 Ft border is prohibited in this area. The rule is introduced case of protecting upper watershed as well.

5000 feet rock is very important to forest department for select the 5000 feet border. When travelling to Udamala mountain, Nasdanda mountain or Half Moon mountain from Alawathugoda, Bogahakumbura, Kandepuhulpola, Wangiya kumbura or any place 5000 Ft Rock is available for rest. Downside of 5000Ft rock there are several Chena with cultivating Potatoes, Cabbage,  Carrots, Chillies and many things. Up side of 5000Ft rock there is a large forest with exotic Eucalyptus trees. And also Part of the Hakgala high forest also closed to the Rock. Several endemic fauna and flora available in this area.

Udamala mountain, Nasdanda mountain, Pattipola, Ambewela and several beautiful places are also very closed to the ROCK.....
